Its turning out to be the season of underdogs, Myskina at the French Open, Shaporova at the Wimbledon Greens, and above all , Greece at Euro2004. Thankfully Federer, Woodbridge/Bjorkman, Indian hockey team(but methinks they overdid it a bit by losing so heavily!!) restore sanity.

First Federer: his awesome game , simply compels me to go out on a limb and declare that he is good enough to overhaul Borgs's fiver, above that ? all depends on his hunger and fitness, if King Sampras's 7 crowns are to be overhauled.

Shaporova & Myskina, when Myskina won, i suspected the hand of the Russian Mafia, surely no GrandSlam winner in recent past has played so pathetically and still won. Shaporova win reinforces my belief. Better watch out, all ye guardians of the US Open.

Greece, they proved that in football, qualities like teamwork, workrate, fitness, tactics will prevail over superstars & their idiosyncrasies anytime.
