Bangalore Trip
monday being a holiday, i traipsed down to blore, to meet old friends, attend the alumni meet , meet assorted relatives, and most importantly to have a jolly good time!!

• after attending the alumni meet, we trooped off to F-Bar, which friends assured me, was decidedly one of the "best saturday night type places" in town, the babes were competing in showing skin, the liquor was riduculously overpriced, and the place , size of a basketball court was filled with 500 party animals!! ..a decidedly unpalatable adventure..gimme the gud ol' TDS at hyd anyday..I think even B & C is leagues ahead of it
• went to Sammys Park, one of the new theme parks which seem to be popping up all over the scene, the guys have done a honest job in imitating the Universal Studios & the Disney's, but please , could they pay more attention to the rides rather than the parks and statues.? .the water ride was the most paisa vasool item. BTW , the entry of 250 bucks was decent compared to some other parks i have been to.
• saw Terminal at Innova multiplex (multiplex, what a joke!!)..i had read the reviews, which had rubbished the movie, but after watching it, I felt it was pretty watchable, the story is good, and Tom Hanks is superb in his potrayal of a street smart "Kakozhian", finding his way in JFK .
• So far , Bangalore has failed to impress me, i still prefer Hyd over it anytime, Hyderabad has cheaper rentals(house), better traffic, more variety in cuisine, better connectivity, better gyms & health clubs and the people are more cultured. Amen.
