completed Three years in Hyderabad today. Looking back cant believe how much the city has changed in last 3 years. hmm..
- the IMAX has come up, must be the cheapest in the world, 60 bucks for a theatre which is far superior to the imaxes in Pune, B'lore, Chennai
- u have speed boating, para sailing, kayaking in the Hussain Sagar at dirt cheap prices..
- restaurants have been coming up at all places , left, right and center..I count 8 new eating joints in my neighbourhood itself.
- after the national games, lots of stadiums have come up, just last week caught some action in the Asian Junior Handball final match, (kuwait prevailing)
- book stores have been closing down at a alarming rate, though the book exhibitons continue to flourish..
- naidu has been voted out..
- traffic has become chaotic, though its still to reach levels of blore/delhi/kolkata/mumbai/Pune
What has not changed?
- biryani as the staple dish
- the clean roads
- the chalta hai attitude
- inherent friendliness of the people
- irani chai
