Life of Piscine Molitor Patel
Finally got hold of the book. The book about the travails of a boy named after a swimming pool, is a gripping read. Well worth all the hype. Heard that Manoj Night is making his next movie on this book. With a ending like this, I guess the book's rights were gobbled up by Shyamalan.
Wyatt Earp
Saw the Lawrence Kasdan directed project on DVD. The visuals are good, the story is well told, the action is gripping, and so is Dennis Quaid as "Doc Halliday", though Costner disappoints. Give me the Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer *ing Tombstone anyday. Its much more crisper and the action is far far better.
