Sundry thoughts
Fast bowlers ruled the roost over the last week or so of cricket action, while Bond was exercising his license against the hapless Rhodesians, Simon Jones was dishing it out to the Aussies.
This Ashes series is definitely the best cricketing action since the Aussies 2001 tour of India. A five-pronged attack has ruthlessly exposed the aging Aussies lineup. For all their talk of greatness, better preparation, and superior mental approach, the Aussies have floundered and failed to adapt. You can carry out your all-attack approach against the Zaheer Khan's , Sami's and Chris Martin's of the world, but when five quality bowlers are bowling, then aggression has to be mixed with liberal doses of caution. Ponting's gallant knock under pressure gives hints that the Aussies are finally thinking of tempering their game.
Warne has again been balancing his off-field shenanignas with outstanding efforts on the field. I wonder what may have been if he had been made the captain.

well the recent concluded super series should probably turn a few heads from the aussie ashes defeat but yes i do support the fact that 5 paceman can really make life hell for them.
