Watched the TNT original movie "Bad Apple" last night. Seems like the Director was inspired by Guy Ritchie of "Lock , Stock", "snatch" fame. Same theme : 1 day, lotsa cool gangsters caught up in vents beyond their control, stylized humor with dollops of violence. Robert Patrick (terminator fame) was exceedingly good, so was the other ..guy damn..forgot his name, hes the one who is Carrie's boyfrnd in "Sex and the City".
Reading "alaska" by James Mitchener, I started reading Mitchner on reco by Anand shivshankar and have been hooked ever since, I have read Texas, Poland (my fav), Carribean (the peice abt Nelson was fab), Space, Hawaii .
